The project “I keep cycling” is a collaboration between a cognitive neuroscientist (Eric Maris) and a group of cycling coaches. This website was built by Eric Maris. For the website’s content, he used the feedback from the cycling coaches, who tested the exercises described here with the target group (senior citizens).
Eric Maris himself has done empirical research on two of the topics that are discussed on this website (How do we stay upright? and How do we see danger?). All other topics are covered in the courses that he teaches within a Bachelor’s program in Psychology and a Master’s program in Cognitive Neuroscience.
